Windows XP

In Control Panel, select 'Network Connections'

You will see this screen:

Click on 'File' then 'New Connection'

Click on 'Next' from this screen:

Select the 'Connect to the network at my workplace' then 'Next'

Select 'Virtual Private Network connection' then 'Next'

Type in a descriptive name for the connection and click 'Next'

Enter the server name we sent you, then click 'Next'

Click 'Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop' then 'Finish'

Enter your Surfbouncer user name and password. If you prefer to not enter this information every time, select 'Save the user name and password...' then 'Connect'

A message will pop up giving you the progress of the connection and telling you when the connection is complete. You can check to see if you are on the network on this page.

Windows Vista and 7

Go to:

Control Panel and select 'Network and Sharing Center' and then 'Connect to a Network' - Vista

Control Panel - 'Network and Internet' - 'Network and Sharing Center' and then 'Connect to a Network'- Windows 7

Select 'Set up a connection or network'

Select 'Connect to a workplace'

Select 'Use my Internet connection (VPN)'

Next to 'Internet address:' enter the server name we sent you

Next to 'Destination name:' type in a description of the connection (this can be anything you want)

Enter your user name and password and click ' Connect'

The connection will connect and show the progress

You can check to see if you are on the network on this page
